Adequate measures have been put in place to continue tree planting’- Abu Jinapor

The Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Mr Samuel Abu Jinapor has assured Parliament that his ministry has put the necessary measures to ensure the continued planting of trees under the Green Ghana initiative.
He said the ministry is determined to make the Green Ghana project work and would not be the last, but they will work hard to ensure its sustainability.

Mr Jinapor used the opportunity to show his gratitude to the Chief Justice, Justice Kwasi Anin-Yeboah, the Speaker of Parliament, Rt Hon Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, the former President of Ghana, Mr John Agyekum Kuffour, Chairman.
He also acknowledged the Members of the Council of State, the Chief of staff, Mrs Akosua Fremah Osei-Opare, the Asantehene Otumfuor Osei Tutu II, Okyehene Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panyin, the over lard of Dagbon, Yaa-Naa Abubakari Mahama II, the national Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Shaributu, the President and Members of the national house of Chiefs and many others, including the entire Ghanaian citizens for their contribution in ensuring that the tree planting exercise became a success.
