Akyem Ntronang: Suspected wife and children killer disappears
Patience Kpezle, a woman, believed to be in her early 30’s and her two children; a young girl of 13years and a boy of 11 years have been found dead in their locked room at Akyem Ntronang a community in the Birim North District of Eastern region.
According to some residents, they suspect her husband Emmanuel Gafa who is in his early 40s to have killed them and disappeared from the community since last Sunday when he was seen.
Speaking to the media, the assembly member for the area; Hon. Dodge Samuel revealed that he received a call from some residents informing him that since last Sunday they haven’t seen or heard from the woman and her children so he came to their house to find out, only for them to come and meet them dead and locked inside their room, so the police were then called to come to the scene.
He disclosed that the two dead children are not the biological father of the man and the dead woman; Patience Kpezle comes from a town called Nyanua a suburb of Asamankese in the West Akyem Municipality of Eastern region but moved to stay with her husband at Akyem Ntronang after they got married and they were engaged in farming.
He concluded that the man and his wife have been fighting most of the times of which their matter has been settled by their pastor and he the assembly member of the area.
The Birim North District Police Commander; Chief Superintendent Peter Ofori Donkor speaking to the media confirmed the incident, stating that the children were a boy and a girl as reported earlier.
And also the door was locked from outside and they learned she was married but the husband is nowhere to be found and family members haven’t shown up yet.
He added that the bodies have been deposited at Abirem Government Hospital morgue awaiting autopsy, while the police search for the suspected husband of the deceased woman.
