Assemblyman donates 60 bags of cement to Kaabre D/A primary school

The Assembly member for Konadu Yiadom Electoral Area at Suma Ahenkro in the Jaman North district of the Bono region, Honorable Prince Atta Edward has donated 60 bags of cement to Nananom of Kaabre, a community in his electoral area for the renovation of their death trap school building.

In an interview with the Assembly Member, he stated that, Kaabre D/A primary school has been in a deteriorating nature for some years now but all efforts to receive support from the district assembly failed.

He has therefore presented 60 bags of cement with a promise of supporting the community with gravels, sand and other needed materials to Nananom of Kaabre for the renovation of the unsafe structure to ensure that the pupils feel comfortable in classroom when they return from vacation.

He added that, the Member of Parliament for Jaman North constituency, Honorable Ahenkwaa Yaw Frederick has promised to construct 3 classroom blocks for Globete, another community in his electoral area that has no school block which makes it difficult for the kids to access Education resulting to massive school drop out due to long distance to school.

Honorable Prince Atta Edward said that, philanthropists and other NGOs in the country should support the government and the various MMDAs in the country to ensure Development since the government and the various Metropolitan, Municipal and District assemblies alone cannot develop the country.
