Mrs. Samira Bawumia, the wife of Vice-president Mahamudu Bawumia, has called on the global community to incorporate more female perspectives in the design and implementation of clean energy solutions.

The wife of the Vice-President was speaking at the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 7 Energy Access event, organized by the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO), ENERGIA, and Global Women’s Network for the Energy Transition (GWNet) at COP26, currently being held in Glasgow, Scotland.

According to the wife of the Vice-President, incorporating more female perspectives will enable the world to achieve SDG7 by the year 2030.
