The Ghana Football Association’s Referees Appointment Committee has settled on officials who will be in charge of the MTN FA Cup final between Hearts of Oak and AshantiGold at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Three referees with FIFA batches have been appointed together with Wiseman Ghansah who is a class one referee to take charge of officiating duties on the matchday.

Ghana Sports Online’s irrefutable sources can report that FIFA referee Daniel Laryea has been chosen as the centre referee. According to our checks referee, Jones Akubiem was in strong contention to officiate the final but the performance of Laryea in recent games in both first and second-tier matches has earned him the role on Sunday.

His assistants Akwesi Brobbey and Patrick Papala both have FIFA batches.

Wiseman Ghansah will be the fourth official with Paul Ayamba as the match commissioner for the occasion.

Hearts of Oak, who are chasing their sixth Ghanaian double, will lock horns with AshantiGold at the Accra Sports Stadium in a highly anticipated game on Sunday evening.
