Speaking in an interview on Thursday, January 20, he indicated that the GFA must be proud of what it has achieved since its tenure of office.

He said, “We should be proud of what we have achieved by the way of administrative restructuring, resumption of all football competition across the country, our investment and revival in juvenile football across all the ten regions, we’ve brought back all the domestic competitions, women’s football competition and others.”

Mr Okraku indicated that his team has done extremely well from where they took Ghana since they have revived all competitions and there is also more investments in the game now even though is not enough.

Talking about the shambolic performance of the Black Stars at the AFCON 2021, they are now focused on confronting what might have gone wrong and are keen on fixing every loophole.

“We want to look at how to make our Blackstars better. The team was made of very young players including 17 players who have never played at the AFCON.

“This tells us clearly that we have a great future if we can manage these talents very well, this is the new face of the Blackstars unlike the Asamoah Gyan and the Michael Essien’s era, they need our support and we should put faith in them.”
