Hearts of Oak midfielder sensation, Salifu Ibrahim, arrived in his hometown, Abofour, in the Ashanti Region, to a King’s welcome.
The left-footed genius was instrumental in the Phobians surge to the 2020/2021 GHPL title, picking up the Ghana Football Awards player of the year in the process.
Salifu in a post on his official Twitter handle, thanked his hometown folk for their support, with a video showing his grand welcome.
He was paraded in a makeshift convoy amidst loud cheers from fans who gathered in the streets.
Salifu will be hoping to continue his incredible form, when Hearts face Elmina Sharks quarter-finals finals of the MTN FA Cup, looking to go all the way in clinching a double this season.
