Kontihene of Ejura advice youth to cooperate with a committee of inquiry

The Kontihene of Ejura Odiasempa Antwi Obugyei II has encouraged the youth of the area to collaborate with the committee to work on the public inquiry into the killings of three persons and several others who sustained injuries in Ejura.
He told the youth not to put matters in their own hands, but ensure that the law takes its cause for the perpetrators to be dealt with by the law.
Indicating that what happened in Ejura was very painful, however, it does not warrant the youth to seek justice in their way but they should allow the government to put its measures in place to ensure peace and justice because that is what the people of Ejura are seeking for.
Odiasempa Obugyei II advised in an interview on Freedom Radio’s ‘’Yɛn Man’’ show hosted by Kwaku Aboagye Apenteng.
Reacting to the current happenings in the area, he charged the youth to provide every relevant information that the committee of inquiry would require in their investigations.
He appealed to the youth to disown any bad person who will come out with guns and cutlasses to incite them to out and fight, indicating that when a fight ensues no one knows who becomes the target.
Citing that should the two guys who died through the protest knew their involvement in the demonstration would cause their lives, they would not have taken part in the protest.
Odiasempa Obugyei II called on the youth to have confidence in the traditional authorities and the leaders of the area and urged them to listen to their advice so that peace will prevail in Ejura.
