Alhaji Ibrahim Seidu, Eastern Regional Coordinator, Nations Builders Corps (NABCO) has encouraged personnel of NABCO to be entrepreneurially focussed to be in a better position rather than waiting to be employed by the government.
He said it is through such initiatives that NABCO in partnership with The National Board for Small Scale Industries (NBSSI) has organized several programs to train personnel through business plans and give them skills training.
‘’They should be more entrepreneurial driven, rather than wait for the white color jobs, because as at when there is clearance from the government no one can be recruited ‘’ he stated.
He was speaking to Kwaku Aboagye Apenteng on Freedom Radio’s ‘’Yen Man’’ Show.
Mr. Seidu also encouraged the personnel with Diploma and HND holders to upgrade themselves so that they can equally be accepted at every level of the job market, stating that, ‘’degree holders are choked in the system now’’ and that most jobs will prefer to work with degree workers.
He called for the need to inspire people to accept posting to every part of the country because that is where their services will be needed the most, citing that, NABCO has really supported Ghana Post, Ghana Library Authority especially in the rural areas because most of the offices were understaffed.
