Sunyani: Evangelist arrested for allegedly killing 35-year-old man
The Sunyani Police have arrested an Evangelist for allegedly murdering a 35-year old man at Kotokrom in the Sunyani East Municipality of the Bono Region.
The deceased Kofi Baah is popularly known as “Mebro” is said to have visited his girlfriend on Wednesday, July 7, at Nkrumah Nkwanta, also in the Sunyani locality.
According to an eyewitness report, Kofi Baah was found dead in a pool of blood the following morning at Nkrumah Nkwanta.
The Sunyani Police patrol team also reported that the same night at where the deceased lifeless body was found, they also saw the suspect [Evangelist] holding a saw stained with blood. They arrested him to aid them to investigate the issue.
The police sources also indicated that there were several cuts on the deceased’s hands, chest, head, and neck when he was murdered and the lifeless body left in a gutter.
The body has been deposited at Sunyani Regional Government Hospital morgue for autopsy.
