The World Health Organization (WHO) has disclosed that the third wave of coronavirus is on the rise across Africa.
In its latest report on the pandemic, the Health Organization said Africa was recording a 20 per cent week-on-week rise in the number of covid19 cases.
The report comes as the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Namibia and Uganda reported their highest number of new weekly cases since the beginning of the pandemic.
New gathered from local media reports in Uganda indicated that Ugandans have been running to their villages for herbal medicines to treat themselves for coronavirus.
Liberia has also been recording a surge in its cases, forcing the United Arab Emirates to place a travel ban on people travelling from Liberia.
