The Deputy Minister of Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development and MP for Akuapim South, Hon. Osei Bonsu Amoah has stated there could be a lot of discrepancies if the Anti- LGBTQI+ bill is passed in a rush.
According to him, there could be a lot of loopholes in the LGBTQI+ bill and therefore need not be rushed in its passage.
He said this in an interview this morning with Kwaku Aboagye Apenteng on “Yen Man” show on Freedom Radio 89.3.
”We should take our time and go through the bill before we pass it” he indicated.
He believes that it’s gender insanity to practice the act but since every bill has a process it goes through, Parliament cannot be in such a rush to make decisions on the matter, without going through the bill to make concrete and solid laws on the matter.
